Ritual is a social deduction game based on the comedy web series “The Cultists”, available on YouTube. The Yellow is everywhere, and the devoted followers of Yog-Sothoth, Dagon, Cthulhu, and Azathoth believe the cultists of the Yellow King are preparing to sacrifice the town to their dread master. There is only one thing the intrepid band of cultists can do to stop them — summon Cthulhu!
With Cthulhu on our side, the cult of the Yellow King won’t stand a chance!
To summon Cthulhu, the cultists must complete five esoteric rituals, but they often go wrong! Is this because the cultists are just inept, or have the cultists of the Yellow King infiltrated the cult and are sabotaging it from within?
Players are secretly divided into two teams - the Loyal Cultists and the sinister Agents of the Yellow. Players are free to make claims and accusations at any time throughout the game. The game will require discussion and deception, and, perhaps a bit of logic and luck.
