Beschreibung
Beware the balance of shifting power in this fast-paced card battler. Will you select the right heroes and villains to defeat your opponent and take control of the Heroverse?

Heroverse: Battleforce is a fact paced 2 player card game in which you will face off in a series of battles with the Controlling Power Source changing from battle to battle. The game has alternative rules for 3-4 players. Each game takes about 5 minutes to play.

This deck consists of 48 character cards in 4 Power Source categories:

Blue/Combat-based characters
Yellow/Technology-based characters
Green/Energy-based characters
Red/Magic-based characters

Each game consists of 2 rounds. Each round consists of 4 battles, played 3 cards at a time. The player with the most cards at the end of both rounds wins.

The Heroverse: Battleforce card game was created in 2003 and premiered at the inaugural New York Comic Con in 2006 at the Heroverse booth.

The 20th Anniversary Edition features new character art on 20 cards including 3 brand new illustrations by Eisner nominated artist Ryan Benjamin, created especially for this edition. Other changes include new special case power mechanics and balancing from the original game, and 6 bonus cards that can be swapped into the game.
