Plucky Pikes & Stalwart Shot is the rules set for the pike and shot era from roughly the middle of the 16th century to the 2nd half of the 17th century.
The rules take into account cavalry, pike formations, firearms, artillery and bows.
The Two Page Rules series features rules that are 2 pages long with one combat card that has the information needed to play the game. The sequence of movement is decided by a dice roll and after that, the games follow the sequence of move-fire-move-fire. Casualties are decided simply and effectively. Morale is divided into 4 stages with the chance to rally at each stage. New players should be able to conduct their own transactions by the third move. These are combat rules that reflect the tactics and technologies of their era. Decisions are made by players, not cards or dice. These rules can be used for nearly any scale of the figure. They are great for large or small battles.
