Beschreibung
Kugelzoff am Weihnachtsbaum (German for "Ornament Quarrel at the Christmas Tree") is a microgame for 2 players in postcard format.
The game is played with brass and copper coins (e.g. 10x €0.10 and 10x €0.02) on a grid of dots and cones arranged in diagonal lines across a Christmas tree.
The coins represent Christmas ornaments and players take turns placing a coin on the tree. The first coin must always be placed on a cone. Each new coin must be placed in a diagonal line with the last coin. Two coins of the same color can never be placed next to each other.
The game ends when no more coins can be placed. Players score 1 point for each of their coins on diagonal lines with 2 or more of their coins. They also score 1 point for each of their own coins next to a light bulb of their preferred color (the color is determined by the side of the postcard they're sitting on).
The player with the most points wins the game. In case of a tie, the player who placed the last coin wins.
