Beschreibung
The traditional game Khanhoo from the Ming Dynasty has spread across the globe, evolving into various tabletop games, most notably the renowned Rummikub.
The Yaofish game Khanhoo Master is based on the original rules of Khanhoo and incorporates elements of Chinese mythology.
Game Objectives
Be the first to play all the cards from your rack.
Game Preparation
Place all number cards and Yaofish cards face down on the table, shuffle them to form the central draw pile.
Each player takes a rack and draws 10 cards from the central draw pile, placing them on their rack.
Each player receives a mythical creature card and takes the corresponding companion card, placing it on the creature card.
Game Play
The player who most recently petted an animal starts, and play proceeds clockwise.
On a player's turn, they must play cards according to the card rules. If unable to play, they draw a card from the central draw pile and place it on their rack.
Players can play cards directly from their rack that match the card rules, or play any number of number cards to combine with the groups already in play. However, all card groups on the table must conform to the card rules.
End of the Game
The game ends under one of the following conditions:
A player plays all the cards from their rack, winning the game.
The central draw pile is exhausted. The player with the lowest total sum of card values on their rack wins, with ray cards counting as 14.
