Beschreibung
Eldur is a cooperative Action Sequence game for 2–4 players, ages 8 and up. Players work together & activate Helpers that roam the lands to find lost famillies, goods or animals before the mighty Volcano claims the Island with its lava & ash.

Will you manage to evacuate everyone or will the Volcano reclaim the lands once again?

There are 4 workers that players cooperatively activate to fulfil the task; the Gatherer seeks goods, the Herder searches the mountains and hidden valleys for sheep and the Seeker looks for lost families. All of them are safely transferred to the harbours where the Knerrir sails them to safety on the newly discovered island.

However, the volcano is unpredictable; no one knows where the lava will flow. Ash falls, cracks, or new fissures may open at any time, making no place safe. The challenge is to see whether the humans can complete their evacuation or if the volcano will regain control of the island. Which side will prevail in the end?

In Eldur, players work together to pick up the local people, goods or animals and bring them to safety on the new Island. During each players turn there are 5 phases that players do:

- Activate the Alþingi board (optional)
- Draw an Incident card & resolve it (mandatory)
- Match and activate Action cards (players match with other players' cards, to activate helpers), move up to 2 activated helpers (mandatory)
- The volcano draws its Volcano card & all players resolve it in the best possible way (mandatory)
- Refill the Action cards (mandatory), next players turn

As with other games in the Nordic Heritage Series, the game takes up wery small table space. The game is using the whole gamebox;
- The bottom part of the magnetic box lid is the play area, along with ocean tiles that are interconnected with it
- The back side of the box side is the scoring track, where a balance marker is moved back and forth as the balance switches between humans & the volcano
- The front part of the box side is a placeholder for the active Incidents cards, that will influence all players both in a good way and a bad way

The game comes with 8 preset setup & winning scenarios, but as players get a better understanding of the game, players can create their own.

A box packed with cooperative suspense, who will win, the humans or the volcano?

Eldur is the 4th game in The Nordic Heritage Series from Gamia games; Sagnir (2018/2023), Runir (2020/2023) & Vedur (2023).
