Beschreibung
The Tobruk Game is an Australian post World War 2 strategy War game where two opposing armies set out to capture each others flags.
Each side has 33 pieces of different army ranks, from Generals to Sappers and mines and a spy. The board is a grid and armies deploy their pieces in any arrangement from behind a lake.
Players take turn to advance any piece except mines and their flag. A playing may attack an opposing piece and if their piece is of the same rank or higher then the attack is successful and the enemy piece goes off the board. Mines destroy all attackers except the Sappers. The Spy piece has the ability to move backwards and in attack it is superior to all pieces except mines. If attacked the Spy piece it is defeated by all.
The winner is the side that attacks and captures the enemy's flag.
