When you arrive at Fire Island, everything seems like a paradise. But there is a volcano which is becoming very active, and only one player will be able to survive this nightmare...

The game board exists of a standard setup of hexagonal tiles, with the volcano in the middle of the board. On your turn, you play one of the six standard action cards that are the same for every player, like sprint/walk/push & steal/dig/look and rest (to get your action cards back). Every turn you play two action cards, and you try to dig up special treasures like God cards, which will give you special actions.

But, there is a caveat. There are ten rounds in the game, and every round the volcano spreads across the island, dictated by the random direction of the wind. The player who plays his cards right, who is able to receive the favour of the gods and who is able to stay away from the lava, will survive and will be the only one left standing... Let the nightmare begin!

Wanneer je aankomt op Vuureiland, lijkt het met zijn slaperige vulkaan en witte stranden recht uit een droom geplukt. Maar schijn bedriegt.
