A Reign of Chaos is a low-complexity, solitaire simulation game of the Israeli-Hamas War of October 2023. The game is an expansion of A Reign of Missiles: The Gaza Crisis, November 2012. The player takes on the role of the Israeli military high command as it attempts to fend off the missile strikes launched by Hamas from Gaza and rescue the hostages taken by the Hamas commandoes and terrorists on the first day of the conflict. The player is also attempting to manage the crisis in order to keep it from escalating into a larger and bloodier conflict that could engulf the entire Middle East. The game’s rules control the actions of the Hamas forces in Gaza.

Each inch on the Gaza map is about 40 kilometers. Each turn represents a week of time. A Reign of Chaos is designed by Paul Rohrbaugh and features graphics by Bruce Yearian.

Each copy of A Reign of Choas is composed of the following:

• One 11 by 17 inch area map of Gaza.
• One sheet of 64 un-mounted, double-sided counters.
• Twelve pages of rules.

Players will also need the following:

• The Reign of Missiles game. Note: You cannot play A Reign of Chaos without A Reign of Missiles.
• An opaque container such as a mug or envelope.
• One six-sided die (D6) and one ten-sided die (D10) to play the game.
