Lands of Loot (2022)

Lands of Loot is a fantasy board game for 2- 6 players. The players assume the role of an aspiring adventurer who sets out on a journey to build their reputation. At the end of the game each player will have made a tale of heroic deeds, awful blunders, epic battles, and of course loot!

Players start with creating a hero by drawing a combination of Folk and Class cards, then take turns rolling a 12 sided die and moving their meeple through a branching track. The game board itself is a map of the "Lands of Loot" and the track contains spaces that relate to their position on map.

The spaces can be events that cause the player to either gain or lose reputation points (RP)- sometimes paying the points to other players in the game. RP is represented by silver/gold coins and glass gems.

Some of the other spaces include monsters, which earn players RP based on their class, and loot chests which allow the player to draw from a limited deck of loot cards. When the loot deck runs out, loot can be taken from other players.

Once every player reaches the end of the track, the reputation for each player totaled and each player is given a title based on their finishing RP. The player with the highest RP is declared the winner.
