UNAUTHORIZED PRODUCTION
The information that BGG has on this item indicates that Trek to Zion is a non-authorized version of Ticket to Ride. According to Days of Wonder, Pioneer Plus does not have license to produce this game, thus it is set apart from the official entry of Ticket to Ride.
Circle the wagons and gather your friends and family for this exciting new board game! Build the most wagon trains and travel across the United States, visiting the same cities and forts that the pioneers passed in the 1850s. Along the way, set up temples and establish Zion in the crossroads of the West. Whoever blazes the most trails and completes the most treks wins!
This game is pioneer themed clone of Ticket to Ride. It adds a new mechanic of "Temple Blessings" and a new map (of the US), but the rest of the mechanics are the same. Instead of claiming track and placing trains you claim a trail and place covered wagons. Instead of train cards, you have provision cards (Corn, Wheat, Horseshoes, etc.)
