This volume contains new rules for Airborne forces; including Air-Assault's (via helicopter); Air-Dropped (parachuting vehicles, equipment and personnel) and Air-Landing (touch-and-go dropping of personnel and equipment via transport aircraft).

Includes rules for Special Forces (The Soviet Spetznatz) and rules for airborne equipment such as the BMD-1 and BMD-2, Gaz-66 trucks and UAZ-469 jeeps.
Also included are rules for 120mm mortars, air droppadle ZSU-23-2 AA guns.
Included are a complete TO&E for the Soviet VDV as well as the US 3rd Infantry Division -rules covered are air-assaults using UH-60 helicopters; rules for armed Blackhawks (UH-60a) and Cobra and Apache gunships alongside M1 tanks and the M60a3.


To round the book off is a special linked scenario section involving the VDV/Spetnatz seizing (with the intent to blow up) a Nuclear Power Station in the lead up to the 8th Guards Army crossing the Inner German Border -with the 3rd (US) Infantry Division tasked with liberating the power station unaware that WWIII is just hours away.

Included are rules for transport aircraft such as the AN-12 and the iL-76; helicopters such as the Mi-2, Mi-4, Mi-8 and Mi-24 (Hind), UH-60a, UH-1D, OH-58 and attack helicopters AH-1F and AH-64!!!
