After establishing their rank, based on the running score accumulated during previous games, The players read the Crime Report which is the scenario for the players to solve. Using the supplies given, the players race to solve the crime and make an arrest. Points are scored or lost depending on performance.The object is to win enough games to move up through the ranks to become Deputy Police Chief.
The game is packaged in a thick plastic pouch and contains:

The game seems to have been, shall we say, inspired by Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective by Sleuth.
