Monkey Business (2008)

Welcome to Monkey Business, the game of product development! You are the CEO of a small, but growing corporation. The goal of the game is to reach a certain number of bananas (money in the game) and a certain number of completed products in play, both based on the number of players in the game.

You have three types of workers (cogs in the great corporate wheel) to help you reach your goal: Engineering Monkeys, Marketing Monkeys, and Operations Monkeys. Each product in play requires an Operations Monkey to manage it. Engineers are allocated to products each turn to advance development. You collect bananas every turn for finished products in play. On a product's initial release, it gets a push from the marketing department, increasing sales on that turn, so the more Marketing Monkeys you have, the higher your initial sales. Meanwhile, your opponents are hiring their own monkeys and developing products at break-neck speeds. Using action cards and VPs will help you gain an advantage over them (allowing you to crush them mercilessly, in fact). Good luck creating your corporate empire!
