Invasion Defense (2011)

From the rules:
Space jump technology opened the way for humanity to reach to the stars. But soon, exploration ships began to vanish. Hostile eyes had been drawn to earth, and from the void of space, a fleet of deadly ships emerged, intent on our destruction.

The fleets are closing on Earth. Only a handful of hastily assembled ships stand in their path. They must destroy the invaders, or Earth will perish.

A solo or cooperative card game for 1-4 players.

Game description:

Each turn, cards showing Invaders advance on the Earth across three possible different sectors. Each invader ship will add new upgrades and weapons as it approaches the Earth and new cards are drawn to reveal its abilities.

Players then draw and play cards representing the ships and weapons of the Earth fleets. Each ship has a mix of missles, lasers and shields, and most ships have special abilities. Players play ships to different sectors and use them to play missile and shield cards to attack the invaders.

The players must destroy 6 of the invading ships to win. If two invaders get past the fleet, the Earth is destroyed.
