The sole cards are placed on a pile with the numbers face down and the sports equipment is distributed randomly on the spaces of the track. One after another the players draw a sole. They let their athlete run as many spaces forward as there are dots on the sole. Drawn soles are put back under the stack with the number face down.
If an athlete is on a space with sports equipment, he does not draw a sole on his next turn, but moves forward as many spaces as indicated on the equipment. The sports equipment cannot be thrown around a curve, so the athlete has to take the path straight ahead. Only on his next turn does he pull a sole again and goes back to the round track. However, if he gets on another piece of sports equipment on the outside path, he has to walk straight ahead on the track and then continue towards the finish line on his next turn.
On the high jump space: On his next turn the athlete advances only one space.
Hurdles: Place sports equipment in front of the hurdle, back up two spaces and try again on the next turn.
Arrow space: Athletes get lost and go straight ahead. Only on the next turn they return to the track.
Finish space: The athletes cross the red finish line and come to a standstill on the striped space. If they miss the finish space and cross the starting line, they have to do another lap around the track.
The game was published in the magazine "Frösi" Nr. 3/84.
