Empire is a Trading Card Game in which two players each play a different deck of Army and Civic cards, fight over control of three territories, and attempt to deal damage to their opponent.

The game is set in a fantasy world containing 8 different factions, each with their own visual identity and gameplay mechanics, which interact in different combos and have different strengths and weaknesses.

During the game, the players fight over and settle territories on the board, which gives them access to the stronger cards in their decks. Thus, the complexity and power-level of cards ramps up as the game progresses.

In the end, the player who manages to reduce their opponents Morale total to 0 stands victorious. To win, players must carefully manage when to fight for more territory, when to build up their resources from their Civic deck, and when to simply go for the kill.
