6: Siege – Year 2: High Impact (2023)

6: Siege - The Board Game is an asymmetrical tabletop game with miniatures for 2 to 4 players, based on Ubisoft’s acclaimed tactical shooter video game, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege.

Year 2 - High Impact adds 8 operators to the base game. All of them being from the second year, or the second season, of the video game. They expand upon existing mechanisms and provide different options. And with the expanded roster, you’ll have more creative freedom while drafting your squad. Some Operators really benefit from synergies, while others are particularly suited for a specific environment

The 4 attackers all have 2 Run and 5 Stamina. No one’s super tanky, no one’s super nimble. However, all four have abilities that will disrupt defense. Jackal and Dokkaebi are perfect for pinging and revealing enemies. With her Candelas, Ying can stun them while Zofia excels at ranged destruction with her rounds.

On the defenders’ side, the four profiles are very different. Mira improves defenses from her team at the beginning of the game, but can also pierce ceiling to help Operators shoot from Upstairs… Lesion and Ela, thanks to their Gu and Grzmot mines, are going to weaken attackers who cross specific thresholds. Vigil, however, will be able to stay in the shadows for as long as he wants, only to appear at the right moment.
