Chronicle of Japan (2024)

A fast-paced wargame based on Japanese history from Yamataikoku (c. 1st century – c. 3rd century) to Satsuma Rebellion (1877). Basic concept inspired by History of the World.

For each of the six ages, players choose a power, which determines additional bonuses and events, as well as the order in which powers are selected for the next age. In the final age, players also choose a final bonus card.

Resolve power invasions based on the order in which each power appeared in history. When a power has placed all of its army and navy units, it tallies victory points based on its control level for each area.

The winner is determined by the total victory points earned in the six ages and the bonus points at the end of the game.
