Battle at Åšwiecino was one of the most important and decisive battles of Thirteen Years' War, conflict that was fought in 1454–66 between the Prussian Confederation, allied with the Kingdom of Poland and the State of the Teutonic Order. It was first major victory of the polish forces.
Game allows players to play whole battle. It also contains a variant that adds army of the prince Eric of Pomerania as the Teutonic Order ally.
"Åšwiecino 1462" is a first mini game created for the "Medieval" wargames system and uses same rules, prepared for the games based in medieval times. Game was added to the 16'th issue of "Taktyka and Strategia" magazine.
