ALLIANCE: The Ultimate World Leader Political Science MegaGame (2015)

Designed by professional graphic designer, illustrator, and game designer, Shaun D. McMillan, ALLIANCE can be played by as few as 12 players or as many as 100. Easily expandable, it can be played with small groups, entire classrooms, or large combined groups. Players work together to lead their nation-teams towards peace using economic strategies, defensive strategies, negotiations, and creative technologies based on each player’s endless imagination. They may collaborate, compete, collude, coerce, negotiate, and create businesses, scientific inventions, and new technologies to solve all the world’s crises to ultimately achieve the epic win, world peace.

ALLIANCE is a megagame. Megagames are played by thirty plus players who all play different roles on different nation-teams simultaneously through a series of timed game days. Through a combination of table top RPG mechanics, board game mechanics, war game mechanics, and live action roleplay, players become world leaders of various different nation-teams and try to achieve world peace together. Though there is competition, in the end they all win together or they all lose together.
