Ultimus Romanorum is a strategic game that depicts the end of the Western Roman Empire from the great invasion 405 AD to its Fall in 476AD.
One players plays the 2 Roman Empires (Eastern (Byzantium) and Western). The other one plays the enemies of the Rome (Barbarians and usurpers).

Historical leaders (Romans and Barbarians) come into play at specific times but die at variable times.
The goal of the game is to score more victory points (PV) than your opponent.
