In the family game Das klimaneutrale Talent (DKT), the topics of environment, climate and sustainability take center stage, but without a raised forefinger, but with a lot of fun and a willingness to take risks, as well as a portion of luck. Based on the classic game Das kaufmännische Talent, which has been known for generations, especially in Austria, free areas may be leased here and then planted with trees (later with forests), which positively influences the climate marker. Environmentally conscious people use the train in the game and everyone tries to do their part in shutting down fossil fuel power plants, as this commitment is rewarded at the end of the game.

Depending on your willingness to take risks and your financial strength, you can also make lively investments in "The Climate-Neutral Talent", sometimes facing insolvency or even bankruptcy. Weather extremes, the CO2 tax and penalties for climate sinners provide additional excitement. However, one thing is always clear: the climate can only be saved by working together, which is why it's win or lose. Whoever has planted the most trees and forests is crowned climate hero.

Game target
The goal is to work together to achieve climate lity. To achieve this, you must either convert three fossil fuel power plants into renewable energy sources or reduce CO² emissions to a minimum.
In addition, the person who has planted the most trees will be crowned climate hero.

In a special way, The Climate Neutral Talent combines cheerful fun with informative facts about sustainable development and goals for climate neutrality according to the UN "Agenda 2030". More is vividly explained in the accompanying booklet.

Of course, Piatnik has not only placed value on sustainability editorially, but also in the game production. Das klimaneutrale Talent is produced entirely with materials from the EU, and the (pre-)materials are FSC-certified. Administration and production at Piatnik in Austria use 100% green electricity.
