Wireheads is a two-player deck building game set in a cyberspace environment. Players takes the role of a wirehead. Each character in the game has different strengths and abilities. Wireheads connect to the virtual world through an interface which may be upgraded or loaded with powerful software to be better prepared for the unknown. In the virtual world they fight for power and glory.
Choose a set of cards that fits your strategy. A typical round of Wireheads consists of a Draw phase followed by the action phase where players use enhancements, upload softwares and sabotage for the opponent in order to gain advantage. New cards are learned from the source and added to your deck. Cards on hand are both effect, software and power to learn new. All cards are freely played from hand without cost. However, stored software and hardware upgrades pay upkeep.
Strike at your opponents interface, exhaust their deck or archive, negate cards on hand. Everything is allowed in order to defeat your opponent.
Every game will differ from the other due to the fact that different cards are available and of those you choose only the cards that fit to the situation and strategy.
