The victim, Dr. Gilbert Sullivan, a beloved local figure, is believed to have been murdered, and his illegitimate son, Hendrix Jenkins, is swiftly charged with the crime. Now, two decades later, you are tasked with unraveling the truth.

As lead detective, you'll receive a comprehensive case file comprising over 40 meticulously crafted pieces of evidence, including crime scene photos, forensic reports, witness statements, and decades-old testimonies. Your mission is to re-examine the evidence, scrutinise the details, and determine if a miscarriage of justice occurred. Was Hendrix Jenkins truly guilty, or is the real killer still at large?

Trial by Fire challenges you to delve into the depths of the past, exploring the complexities of family dynamics, community secrets, and long-buried grudges. Your deductive skills will be put to the test as you sift through the evidence, identify viable suspects, and uncover the buried truths that have haunted Garenton for years.
