Farlight: Mission Critical (2018)

Farlight: Mission Critical offers five daring new missions for Farlight that feature a unique countdown die mechanic. If you can succeed the benefits will be substantial, but if you fail the mission or can't complete it by the time the die expires, the losses to your ship and resources could be devastating!

Critical Missions are like no other mission you've undertaken before.

1. When a Critical Mission is revealed, roll a die and place it on the mission. This is now the countdown die. Reduce the die by 1 pip after every round.

2. Place bets to attempt to complete the Critical Mission as you normally would. When attempting to complete a Critical Mission you must roll another die, and add the value of your bets to the die roll. The result must be higher than the countdown die for the mission to succeed. If you are unable to complete the mission, the text below “Attempt Fail” is triggered.

3. If a countdown die reaches zero, the text below “Countdown Fail” is triggered.
