Each turn represents one day and each hex is about 10 km across. One player commands the Later Jin (後金) Eight Banners (八旗) and the other player commands the Ming (明) matchlocks and cannons. This is a decisive battle near the Sarhu Mountain Pass in Chinese history and sets an important foundation of the future Qing Dynasty.
