The Legend of Sabao (2016)

The Legend of Sabao is the first game of a business game series based on the history of the Tang Danasty. Sabao is the leader of a merchant caravan, and the story of this game is based on a Buddhist fable.

Through the mechanisms of worker placement and area control, players travel into the world of one thousand years ago to act as a Sabao and gain as much profit as possible while undergoing a long and dangerous journey. You have to balance the resources you have, and sometimes make tough calls, perhaps even sacrificing to maintain the best for the caravan and gain the most profit.

《萨薄传奇》是预计的大唐商人系列里的第一部，游戏类型是区域控制+工人放置，玩家人数2-6人。游戏的题材来源于历史上唐人对商主的称谓和一个萨薄燃臂引路的佛教故事。
萨薄（bao2声）在古代的商人里，代表的不单是关于经商，更是一种可靠的担当。玩家在游戏里扮演一只商队的首领，带着自己的伙计，游走与长城内外，和其他玩家去竞争这样一个在大唐商人眼里非比寻常的地位。
要成为被尊称为萨薄的商主，就要比一般的商人要更加严格地维护整个商队的利益，带领他们度过难关寻找商机，甚至有时候必须做出牺牲取舍，来完成目标。
