What you can do on your turn
The first player to place a bridge tile on the board is the second player to play it, alternating on each turn.
The first player to place a tile on the board may either place or remove a bridge tile, place or remove an over-bridge tile, or move a relief piece.
Tiles cannot be placed in the middle of the board. Relief pieces may not return to the center once they have left it.
Once a piece has reached the center, it may move to any place on the center (except for enemy relief pieces) on its turn.
Rescue pieces can move only on polynomino tiles of their own color in straight lines (not diagonally). (They cannot move diagonally).
When a rescue piece reaches a rescue piece, the rescue is successful and the piece is removed from the board and a point is scored.
The monomino tile with the rescued piece removed becomes a normal bridge tile.
You can also rescue an enemy rescue piece. Only in this case, it can enter the enemy's polynomino.
Overbridge tiles can be placed on top of enemy polynominoes to cross them.
It can also be hung diagonally across two polynomino tiles of its own color.
Overbridged tiles (1 enemy tile or 2 of your own tiles) cannot be removed on your turn.
Scoring
Rescued pieces are scored (3 points for the player and 8 points for the enemy from the center). Enemy rescued pieces can also be rescued (1 point).
If you are the first to move up to the enemy's position, you score 5 points. After the enemy player moves up, the second player can continue to play for the number of pieces he rescued.
If he is the second player to go up, he gets 1 point. If not, the player loses the game.
Expansion
When a polynomino tile is placed in all five surrounding squares, the position is considered to have been reclaimed and expanded, and the six squares in the corner become the player's position.
Victory Condition
If a player cannot move up to the enemy's position, he or she loses the game.
If both players move up, the player with the higher total points wins. In the case of a tie, the first player to move up wins.
