May 1924. Prohibition is in full swing, driving the growth of organized crime and bootlegging. One of the more genteel types of these criminal elements were the “rum runners”. At first, they were often well-to-do sportsmen with yachts and other vessels. They would pick up booze from the Bahamas or Cuba and run it into the United States using speedboats.
In this adventure, the characters find themselves participants in a bet. Which team can get from Bimini in the Bahamas, to "Rum Row" just outside of U.S. waters, load their boats with alcohol and run it to the beaches of "Fort Liquordale", then return first? There's money and respect on the line, and possible Coast Guard cutters lying in way.
This adventure was created for the Ubiquity system that powers Hollow Earth Expedition and other games, but has a guide for how to tweak it for use with FATE or the new Director's Cut system from Outgunned!
