Published by A. Williams & Co. of Boston and copyrighted by Mudge & Spooner in 1857. Thought to be the predecessor game to the Peter Coddle games (Trip to New York, Trip to Chicago) as it was published a year prior to Gould & Lincoln‘s Peter Coddle’s Trip to New York game in 1858.
One person is selected to read the story which is accompanied by a set of cards in the box. The cards, containing the names of various objects, are distributed equally to all participants. When the reader encounters a blank space in the story, that person looks at one of the participants who then must read one of their cards to complete that missing part of the story.
