Innsmouth was once a prosperous trading town, saved from ruin by Captain Obed Marsh's discovery of gold in the South Pacific. However, the gold came with a heavy price. A century later, the town is a decaying ruin populated by diseased, mutated citizens. Shunned by its neighbors, Innsmouth is slowly dying a dark and sinister death.
