The Ultimate Super Mage contains everything you need to run a magic based character in a HERO System campaign. While the main focus of the book is geared toward a Champions campaign, most of the ideas presented in the book can apply to any setting.
The book contains characters, spells, advantages, limitations and many options for your spell-casting characters. Descriptions of mystic dimensions, hidden cults, and long forgotten (and forbidden) lore provide plot hooks for players or background for your campaign.
While this is written for HERO System 4th edition, much of the book can be easily adapted for other versions of that system. Many of the concepts in this book are also present Ultimate Mystic, published for the HERO System 5th edition.
The Ultimate Super Mage was available as a PDF download from Hero Games prior to the release of HERO System 5th edition.
