Monarch

In "Monarch," two players secretly and simultaneously move caterpillars and butterflies across a three-zone board to capture the opponent's monarch. Caterpillars metamorphose into butterflies upon reaching the opponent's home row. Both move orthogonally, with butterflies also moving diagonally. Moves are planned behind screens using dice and revealed simultaneously. Collisions or illegal moves result in penalties or an immediate end to the game.
