Using his entire fortune, the team of scientists (Who Norman would eventually dub ‘Team 01-589-289-RQ-Fiver”) proceeded to cyberize him. One Adamantium skeleton, a entire Fiber Optic nervous system, a 10-million processes per nanosecond Cyberbrain, roughly twenty miles of cable, fourteen toasters (to satisfy the scientists’ natural craving for toast), a Fusion reactor, and nine D cell batteries (in order to run the blinky lights on his body) later, the scientists succeeded, and begin to fit Norman with every mechanized do-hicky known to science.
