Publisher Blurb:
The Gullet is a small, fleshy sinkhole in the border marches between Pom and Pipekin territories. It is old as sin and littered with the bones of foolhardy adventurers.
It is actually the opening to the digestive tract of a colossal underground hominid (we’ll call him Capitalism,) and it has been subject to several daring expeditions over the course of the last two centuries.
None of them have come back.
Fortunately, the detritus left by their progress down into the dark (as well as the possessions of various creatures that have since moved into the Gullet) are a reliable source of pocket money for starting adventurers, and the upper layers of the Gullet are relatively safe to explore, so the whole thing has become a sort of trendy destination for newcomers to the field of extractive exploration-violence.
Which means, of course, that it has its own tourist economy.
Hey Check Out This Cool Thing I Found In The Gullet is a 26 page starter scenario for Fivewild, the world's best Fivewild roleplaying system.
