Match Ball is a simulation game of a Tennis match competition. You can emulate your favorite tennis players with this game. I designed the game as a simulation where you can reproduce all the movements and strikes a professional player can do in a match! You can play as a single player match or doubles.
You have one counter representing you in the court and must move around the field to send the ball to the other side while re-positioning yourself in the best way that you can to cover your side and catch the returning strike from the other player.
You have all the possible strikes in a tennis match that can be done: Serves, Forehand, Backhand, passing shots, lobs, smashes, etc...
The components are:
- Tennis court (Grass)
- Rulebook
- Strike Rule (To be printed in transparency)
- Balls and players counters
- Markers
- Action cards
You will need to provide with 4 dice: 2 color d6, 1 white d6 and a 1d4.
This is my first attempt to design a game. I came up with the idea when creating the geeklist 1:1 scale Sports boardgames that lists games of sports.
