Lumen is a game of photographic terminology and image analysis that challenges players to visually interpret concepts and critique images.
Designed as a fun and engaging educational experience, Lumen introduces players to terminology useful in photographic critique and discussion, while also encouraging critical thinking, debate, and analysis.
Lumen is a judging game that consists of four parts: reading a terminology card, submitting photo cards, judging, and scoring. Each round a judge reads a terminology card and players submit photo cards in response. The judge selects the photo card they feel best interprets the term and explain why they made their choice, then players engage in discussion. The first player to score five points by winning five rounds wins the game.
