Each round, one person is nominated by the group to be the Moral Compass. This person gets a second set of voting cards, essentially doubling this person's voting power, helping to break ties in a game with an even number of society members. The Moral Compass can also choose to vote two different ways, which is especially strategic when playing with the "Modes Expansion"
