This supplement to Starfire 3rd Edition was the first publication from the Starfire Design Studio (SDS). Its rules presage the changes that the SDS introduced in 3rd Edition Revised. The most important features are a set of rules for combining the unique tech system from the Akelda Dawn expansion with the traditional tech system (for both tactical and strategic/campaign games), and new rules for the campaign system (Imperial Starfire), including an abstracted Commercial Freighter Network (CFN).
