MadoMagion (2011)

User summary A cooperative card game based on the Japanese animated TV show "Puella Magi Madoka Magica", implementing the mechanism from Hanabi. From a deck of cards, players draw a set number of cards but may not look at them. Instead, the cards are held so that all other players see them. On a turn, a player may either play a card from his hand, or say something about another player's cards. Revealing information increases the soul gem contamination level, and this can only be cleansed by drawing witch cards. If the contamination reaches level 3, the game is over, the world is destroyed, and the players have lost. Witch cards can be returned to the witch deck by discarding cards from hand, but once the normal card deck runs out, the game ends. The goal of the game is to get cards in the right order onto the table, so that all five magical girls: Madoka, Homura, Mami, Kyoko and Sayaka are fully transformed.
