Hex hex Flume is a very simple game for two players, played on a hex hex board lined with a perimeter of green stones (or green, stone-sized stickers). Two players, Red and Blue, take turns adding stones of their own color to the board.
If you add a stone which forms 5 or 6 connections (adjacencies) with neighboring stones of any color (red, blue or green) you must add another stone to the board while it's still your turn. And so on. Your turn concludes when you add a stone which forms 4 or less connections with neighboring stones.
Certain move types are prohibited in hex hex Flume, unlike its sister game, square Flume, in which there are no prohibited move types.
The object is to have the majority of stones on the board.
