User Summary
This Games Workshop miniatures boxed set is based on the movie The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. The players are given a sequence of scenarios that allow them to reenact various episodes from the film in the form of tabletop battles. (Rules appear to based on Games Workshop popular Warhammer system.)
This is a stand alone game, but it is also completely compatible with other Lord of the Rings Tabletop Battle Game products. (It also provides expansion material for earlier releases in the product line.)
This starter set contains a 160 page rulebook that covers all aspects of play along with how to construct and paint the included miniatures, and how to create terrain for play. Contains: 32 detailed plastic miniatures w/ slotta bases, ruined building pieces, the rulebook, a paper ruler (not listed in components on the back of the box), and a set of 4 dice. (Some assembly is required!)
