DEFACTOS – Istoria României I is a historical trivia game that invites players to explore key moments from Romanian history by organizing them chronologically. Players take turns placing event cards, which feature significant historical events, into a shared timeline. The game requires a strong grasp of history, as well as strategic thinking, to correctly position the events in relation to one another.
The objective is to collect six tokens by placing event cards in the correct sequence. Tokens are earned when a player successfully adds an event to the timeline without error. Special effect cards offer unique advantages, allowing players to modify the gameplay and enhance their chances of success. The game’s mechanics focus on decision-making, as players must assess whether their card’s event occurred before or after the cards already on the timeline.
Winning the game requires a balance of knowledge and strategy. As the timeline grows, so does the difficulty, making each move more critical. The game ends when one player collects six tokens by correctly placing events, with tokens forming three pairs from distinct categories.
