Letter Drop (2022)

Drop Letters. Make Words. Score Points Letter Drop is where you'd expect the exact centre of the Venn diagram between Scrabble and Connect Four would be. A fresh fusion of two old games, Letter Drop gives players the vocabulary and resource management of Scrabble, and the visual area control of Connect Four! Players choose a tile from a small "hand" of tiles of their colour, and place it into the grid to form a high scoring word, or potentially block an opponent. The game ends when the entire grid is full, and all 42 letters have been placed. The player with the most points wins the round, and the first player to two rounds won, wins. Alternate colours each round, as each colour has a different combination of letters. —description from publisher
