Stacks is a fast-playing, abstract tactical game for two players.

The game is played on a 5 x 5 grid (25 spaces in total). Each player gets 10 playing pieces either in red or black. Your pieces start on stacks of 2 on your own home spaces, adjacent to the main playing grid.

In each turn, a player can move one or more of their pieces across the board. The aim of the game is to get four or more of your pieces into the opponent’s home spaces, or to eliminate six or more of the opponent’s pieces.

The game is easy to learn, and is highly re-playable, offering players interesting and difficult tactical and strategic choices.
