Walt Disney's Mick Mouse and his Friends is a simple roll and move game where players begin at Micky's house and travel around a path that passes famous Disney movie settings and characters, such as Geppetto's toy shop, Cinderella's Castle and Goofy's Ice Cream shop.
Landing on a certain space by the roll of the dice can make a detour off the main path and take a short cut. First to return back to Mickey's home is the winner.
The larger boxed game was published by the National Game Company in Melbourne, Australia, credited to have been the first large-scale Australian manufacturer of locally-designed board games. The game appears an oddity in respect to other National board games in relation to the topic chosen, the use of the Shield logo when most boxed games used the Oval Logo and the suspected late year of publication around 1952 based on the board having Cinderella's Castle with the Disney movie released in 1950.
