The object of the game is to capture one or more enemy men between two of your men. Captures may be made along vertical, diagonal or horizontal rows of squares.
On the first turn only, the opening player player places 2 men, 1 on the start in the center of the board and 1 more adjacent. The other player must then place 2 side by side, adjacent to the first player. Each player then places a single man next to an enemy man trying to encase them between friendly men. Any enemy so encased are flipped over to the friendly side.
When maneuvers end the player with the most men showing wins.
