Barnyard Zombies is a rummy style board game about herding zombie livestock. When mad cow mutated into mad sheep, mad pig and eventually the dreaded mad chicken, humanity was completely unprepared. City slickers, unaccustomed to dealing with livestock, were gonners. But country folk survived by learning to herd the monstrous beasts. In the post apocalyptic war for limited resources, barnyard zombies have become the new weapon of choice. Each player commands a rival survivor faction and shares two objectives, herd zombie livestock to enemy barnyards and recruit survivors. Each zombie has two traits, animal and color. Players manipulate these traits to Attach, Spawn, Link and Split zombie hordes. The Spawn and Link actions recruit survivors. When a survivor pool is depleted, all barn bunkers are breached. The more zombies in a player's barnyard, the more casualties they're likely to suffer. To help them in their quest for dominance, players employ scavenged supplies like ammo, grenades, brains, barbed wire, radioactive waste and more. At games end the player with the most survivors wins.
