Beschreibung
Rock & Roll Brouhaha is an asymmetric, customizable, expandable card game, in which players assume the role of band managers who are tasked with assembling musicians, buying musical gear, looking for gigs and scheduling venues for their bands.

Managers each play their own deck of cards that represent musicians and supporting personnel, venues, gear, and actions. Resouces are produced by venue cards, or by sacrificing a card in hand to become a salary card. Resources are used to play all other cards, to activate certain card abilities, or to pay for expenses when musicians attempt to perform a gig. The effects of action cards are resolved immediately. Other cards remain in play until another effect removes them from play (discarded cards go into the retirement pile).

There is a separate card that tracks the volume level. The manager of the "chill" deck has cards that benefit from a lower volume level, while the "forte" manager benefits from higher volume level.

Play progresses through various phases:

The draw phase, where managers each draw 1 card from their deck
The gig phase, where managers combine venue cards with cards and then assign musicians to those sets of cards in an attempt to score points from the gig.
The main phase, where managers can play musicians, venues, salary and gear from their hands.
The payout phase, where venues and salary cards produce resources.
The end phase, where certain card effects are triggered and cards that were used during this round are reset.

Additionally, there are 5 activities to which a musician or personnel card can be assigned during the gig phase. These activities have an immediate effect, such as card drawing, additional resource production, or adjusting the volume level. These activities add a worker placement flavor to the game, as only one card can be assigned to an activity in a particular round.

Victory points are scored when a group of musicians achieves the requirements on a gig card to which they are assigned. Whichever manager can score 20 victory points first is declared the winner.
